That's a concern of mine as well. I've never been able to scratch any of the Gorilla glass phones but I'm sure this plastic will scratch. Seems that their plan to deal with this is a replaceable top layer. Supposedly available through the Motorola site and replaceable by anyone.

Does anyone know if the back plate on the device snaps on or is it bonded in some way? I'm wondering if it will be possible to have a few back plates and change them out. Corey
