What is the shipping date they gave you?

Mine changed to pending overnight too. Some people in other forums were speculating it changes 2 weeks before it ships out. I just want it to come I am so tired of my G4's terrible performance/locked bootloader.

No 1.85 is not rootable yet but it will be pretty soon hopefully. As for roms, there is cm9 and aokp builds that have most of the kinks worked out there are also a handful of sense roms but until HTC releases the kernel source there is no s-off and no custom kernels. Hope I helped -Corey

Yes! there are alot of things necessary in froyo needed in gingerbread. Find 2.2 on the internet and update it then update to gingerbread
