Hey there, I am coming from a Huawei watch and have some general questions on the S3. First off, I am trying to decide between the Bluetooth and LTE models. I am on Project Fi, and a data only sim doesnt cost me anymore than the data it uses...which would be next to nothing for a smartwatch...

So, randomly one day my S7e started to take forever to charge (6+ hours) I noticed it was reporting it was charging at USB speeds instead of fast charging, so I made sure fast charging was enabled. (it is). Then I tried several other chargers and cables...same result. I even tried a factory...

For me it was the Tile app. It had a setting checked that stated "Auto Repair Bluetooth Connections (May Restart Bluetooth)" Fairly obvious after you see it, but not at all when BT just suddenly cuts out multiple times a day for no apparent reason.

Yeah, I have no idea yet. I use my phone too much during the day to test it out. My original concern, that the phone may not have it at all was false though. It simply doesn't seem to be operating correctly for me for one reason or another.

Actually, I don't think it is the always on display causing my device to not doze. at least, it's not the only thing. Looks like the initial doze session I got was never repeated. After a little research I've found bluetooth has been known to keep the 6P from dozing, which would make sense being...

Ah okay, now that is in there. Furthermore, GSAM started reporting Doze right away when always on display was turned off. Crisis adverted, however there may be an issue with always on display.

If it can be duplicated, even closely, by a third party app isn't really the point. I doubt it would work as well without root anyway if Samsung has mucked around with it.

Always on display is, on. I'll cut it off now and test. But, if it did have Doze, wouldn't it need a managment pane in settings to black list apps you dont want to doze? The S7 doesn't have that.

It's funny how people freak out over testing the advertised water resistance of the phone. I plan to take advantage of this feature to expand what was possible to do with a phone before. Taking pictures in a pool, or having it near by the hot tub on vacation and have the peace of mind a random...

So it looks like the phone is using Samsung's "app optimization" feature which hibernates apps after they havent been used for 3 days, but I don't see Doze anywhere. Likewise, Gsam reported 0% Doze when I left it off the charger over night.

Ugh. I had this issue for over a year on my 1st gen 360 and figured it was just one of those 360 problems. Then I bought a Huawei watch and still had it. It was the fricking moto connect app causing it. That will **** you off.

Yeah, I am really missing this feature too. I used it all the time. It was really nice when someone sent you an address via text but then typed a message in the same text. You could just smart select the address and quickly jump into maps. Or when viewing a website that had their address or...

I was googling this issue as it was pissing me the hell off. I've been dealing with it on and off for months. Listening to an audio book on my commute home and it would just cut off, but yet keep playing (muted) so then I'd have to get it reconnected and skip back to before it cut off...only to...

That is very annoying about NFC...you have to get it just perfect...it can take more time than simply doing what ever it was manually. I was trying to show my father in law android beam on a photo...as soon as I got it lined up right he moved his phone a fraction of an inch and I lost it lol.
