Hmmm. When I go into any of my apps, there is no "disable" button. There is a forceclose and uninstall button, but no disable. My version is 4.0.2, and I'm not rooted. What am I missing???

To get rid of the lock screen after OTA froyo download, I installed an app from the market called "AntiLock". You have to reboot after install before it works.

I found one that works with the OTA froyo update - it's called "AntiLock". After you install it, you need to reboot the phone before it works. It can eliminate the patern lock screen entirely.
