    Having the same issue. Found anything besides getting a different launcher to fix this? Such a pain that I can't see how many emails or WhatsApp messages are unread once you swipe them away in the notification panel.

    Not having the unread number on badge app icon is a real letdown. No way to know how many unread emails or WhatsApp I have!

    One rep told me $70 and it will take up to 10 days to get it fixed another rep told me I should add the Samsung premium care and then I'll be $100 deductible. Sadly no-one said free.

    I never drop mine but I was walking with my son and he decided to try and take it out of the holster and it hit the cement. Only the back glass cracked. I'm thinking a skin may cover it... Maybe I will reach out to Samsung

    Anyone know why WhatsApp is notifying that I may have new messages? I have data saver off and I have the app in the allowed to use as much battery list. Tia.
