Just tried putting it in airplane mode, connecting to wifi....and still no maps

My service provider for phone is verizon, wifi is oceanic (time Warner cable)

I have recently upgraded to a Samsung s7, as in last week. Did the whole two for one deal and got the wife one as well. Since then google maps hasn't worked in wifi. Works great in cell data, but in any wifi it can't connect. On either phone. I have tried it on my wifi, ran thru a Netgear...
