Re: Share your Moto X Moto Maker design here! Your slate looks a lot bluer than the image on the Motomaker website. Is that the case in real life, or just these pictures?

    Unrestricted Tether T-Mobile NO ROOT

I've reviewed the terms and conditions for T-Mobile and they state that "Your Data Plan is intended for Web browsing, messaging, and similar activities on your Device and not on any other equipment. Except to the extent explicitly permitted by your Data Plan, other uses, including for example...

Yep, you can try using the dun method and then activating the native tether. For T-Mobile you don't need any other apps, but you'll just have to see if it works on at&t. Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

I don't know about tablets, but for your computer go to the web store for whatever browser you use and search for user agent switcher plugin. It's not very convenient though, as it does switch the websites to their mobile version. Another option is a VPN, which encrypts all data so it is...

Hmm. I was worried about that. I usually use a user agent switcher plugin in chrome and set it to an android phone, so they see the data coming from a phone and not a computer which is pretty obviously tethering. I don't know if it actually works though. Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

That's what this thread is about. Tethering without it being shut off, which is what will happen if you don't use the APN method. Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

I'm aware that it drops to edge after 5gb. I've never gone over though, and it is referred to by T-Mobile as unlimited data (though throttled eventually) hence why I called it "unlimited". And for me 500mb of tethering is pretty much good for a fair amount of web browsing and some Netflix...

The $30 a month plan is great! And tethering works fine as far as I can tell. I've only tried the WiFi, not Bluetooth, but I'd imagine it would work just the same. Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

Not really sure what you mean, but I have the 30 a month plan with "unlimited" (5gb high speed) data and before I used this method it would pop up the T-Mobile page. Now it works fine, and I've used probably 500mb per month tethering. Sent from my XT1053 using Tapatalk

Not receiving text messages on Moto X

The last couple of days I've been having this issue where I occasionally don't receive texts from people. It seems random, and if they send two texts within a minute of each other I sometimes only get one of them. The interesting thing is that all the missed ones from the last couple of days...

If you want to edit an existing T-Mobile LTE APN, go to Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> More... -> Mobile Networks -> Access Point Names -> Then just tap on the fast.t-mobile.com one to open it for editing -> then hit APN type (it's closer to the bottom of the list) and add ,dun to the end.

T-Mobile/GSM Unlocked: Android KitKat 4.4.2 Release Notes (161.44.25)

Re: T-Mobile/GSM Unlocked: Android KitKat 4.4.2 Release Notes If it's an at&t phone, you're gonna have to wait until they push out their own 4.4.2 update. The T-Mobile one is a different model. Once they do (which should he very soon), you can wait until you get the OTA, or just install...
