HTC One: Do you honestly need a screen protector?

Re: Do you honestly need a screen protector? 18 months, no screen protector, no case and no problems. Just slide phone into empty pocket (keyword - empty) and enjoy my day. "In God we trust. All others we track."

    calendar notifications

There's an app for that. I use Notify Pro. Allows you to choose how all notifications (phone calls, smh, Facebook, emails, calendar etc) should be displayed. For example, you can set Notify to allow phone calls to appear on locked screen while text messages don't. Your choice. Also can select...

I had same issue. Just pair up the bluetooth again and it resolves the settings problem. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Android Central Forums

Bluetooth definitely stops Settings. When I turned off Bluetooth, Settings worked fine (WVTip's workaround). But as soon as Bluetooth was re-engaged, Settings stopped. That's gotta be a minor fix.

Ditto on the Settings process stopping. Haven't tried your work around yet as I'm listening to music via Bluetooth. Music was louder and richer. Running Next Launcher and had to reinstall bw and digital clock widgets. No real issues.

Hows everybody liking Official Jelly Bean (those who have it)? Thumbs up? Thumbs down?

Using a 2005 Dell Latitude D810 (workhorse baby!), XP took me an HOUR to download the "Simple Downloader Tool" and 10 minutes to update my phone to GB27. Great, ***** proof step-by-step instructions. Software is optimizing my apps now. Expecting only the BEST!

    The 2013 NFL Offseason Thread

RG3 unfortunately lacks the physical body to match his superior athleticism. Management knew it and that explains why Danny boy had no problem getting 2 QBs. This is the NFL, not D1 ball. Most are news watchers, others are news makers.

    S3 $49.95 @ RadioShack...

Am I missing something here? Change to Family Data Plan, 1500 min to landlines and unlimited to mobile, unlimited data and text for less than I pay now? Sure it's Sprint and requires 2 year contract but I get upgrades to mimic S4. So what's wrong with this picture? Most are news watchers...

I believe Samsung has missed the mark

Agreed. Still using S2 because: (1) contract not up and (2) I don't fall for the "latest and greatest" annual hype. Contract ends soon and given the significant differences between S2 and S4, I may go S4. But the screen is a possible deterrent. That leads me to the Note 2. Again because it's a...

    Why Upgrade from the S3?

That's the same question asked by many (not all) S2 owners when S3 debuted. Those who passed on the S3 are ready for the S4. Most are news watchers, others are news makers.

What are you going to upgrade to the Galaxy S4 from?

    SWYPE Vs. SwiftKey Flow

I like SwiftKey. I really enjoy SwiftKey flow. But when you add Google Voice on top of SwiftKey Flow you now have three options! Plus the ability to go back and forth between multiple languages while texting or flowing or speaking. Just great. Most are news watchers, others are news makers.

Do you use a screen protector?

Running naked ("streaking?") for more than a year. No scratches and no issues. Most are news watchers, others are news makers.
