Cheers mate, I had the same (launcher) problem and this has sorted it out.

I have three Android alarm apps and none of them went off on my Huawei P8 lite (with Android Lollipop) this morning, luckily I had set the alarm on an old Apple iPhone that I have. Lesson to be learned here is not to trust Google products :(

I lost my clock widget on my s5 the other day and it has also gone from my widgets menu, so Google can get themselves to... It's also was not the only widget missing, so back to Apple for me.
