Restarted in Safe Mode. But with fanfares that play a few times a week, it's hard to know when this has proven the guilt of a 3rd party app. If it does, is "disabling" apps as good as uninstalling them?

I can only think of two small interface apps that may have been added since this problem started. One is called "Fuel Card" and the other "GoodRx". Please remind me how to restart phone in Safe Mode.

Every day or so, my LG G6 phone (VS98830b) plays a short fanfare without giving any other sign of what it's doing. At first we weren't sure it came from the phone, but now I've held it in my hand while it happened. Seems like it must be a sneaky app, but how can I find which one?
