In the settings menu, under Send Settings, there's an option to split large messages. Check that box.

There are a few free apps in the market place that will let you do what you want.

Not sure what's going on, but to save your contacts: Open Contacts, touch the menu and you'll see an option for exporting them. They'll be saved on your sd card. You can then copy them over to your computer or even e-mail them to yourself. Try uninstalling then reinstalling the apps that won't run.

Create a different user name.

I believe that you need to download an app. I've seen a few, but can not remember their names. Search the app store for something like: streaming media player or streaming music.

Go into settings, manage apps, all, and clear the defaults on the browser. It may be listed as Internet or Browser.

Can you boot into recovery or download mode?

Correct, Samsung no longer makes the Infuse. GB stands for Gingerbead. It's the OS that was released after Froyo.

Sounds like you didn't follow the proper steps. Like installing ICS first and possibly removing an external SD card. To return to stock GB Click Here Sounds like your IMEI may have gotten messed up. Did you back up your EFS folder per the OP for installing JB...

You will need to return to stock GB before you can install a Gingerbread rom. Click Here
