It took me awhile to get used to it in public. Now I forget to take it off, I usally realize it when someone looks at me funny while I'm talking on the phone. Oh well my wife says I'm crazy anyways, always talking to myself....

You may want to invest in a bluetooth and charge your Evo as needed. Thats what I ended up doing I got the Jawbone Icon and it works great....

After you transfer everything to you pc put the card in your Evo and format using it. To format using the Evo go to settings>Sd & Phone Storage> Unmount SD Card> then Format SD Card. Then you can plug the Evo up to the pc via usb and transfer everything back...

Try going to settings> connect to pc> make sure the ask me is ticked. With it ticked every time you plug your usb in to charge it shoud give you the chose to charge or mount ect...

For me the quality is great. I have no problems at all. I also use a Jawbone Icon with the Evo no problems there.
