Just turn off the beauty features, particularly the skin tone. Set it to 0 and it will look normal again.

The HTC Desire Eye does have front facing speakers, but they aren't as good as the M8's according to the reviews I've read. They did a pretty good job of hiding them since you have to look closely at the pictures to really see them.

Have you had any luck with this? I'm dealing with the same thing since it worked great on my old HTC EVO 4G LTE that I'm guessing worked like your DNA. I've tried other options like NILS and Notify, but just not the same.

The front camera is awesome after you do the cleaning that is posted on here. There is a UV coating that is on there that get's scratched easily. Remove that and it's great. I was having the same issue with my FFC until I did that, now it works great.
