Getting a second update on Rogers right now, 283mb in size. Got lollipop about three weeks ago and haven't had any issues. Fingers crossed... Will compare screenshots of the About Device pages shortly.

Tried Juice Defender on a previous phone and found it had little effect other than draining the battery itself. To the OP - I'm sure your "Power Saving Mode" is enabled, and all the boxes checked. This helps quite a bit in my experience - more than any app I've tried. Still not sure if...
Go to Settings > Application Manager > Music Player and disable it from there. I did the same after installing Google Music. With all this bloatware, I sure miss my Nexus S... :(
