I have 4G at my office in the Galleria area (San Felipe and Augusta) this morning. Pretty pathetic speeds though - 399kbps down and 360kbps up. That IS 10x faster than my 3G speeds though :confused: If this is what I've been waiting for then it may really be time to start thinking about...

I am guessing that means that, on the launch date, only 40% of the planned LTE towers will be active, with the rest being filled in gradually over time. Probably means that, like is the case with WiMax, coverage while moving around the city will not be very good. I'm sure there will be pockets...

Just watched the video at the link above. 30-50% better 3G speeds. So now instead of 60kbps I can get 80-90kbps on 3G. Man, that is going to be awesome :-\

At least we have a date now. Never had a firm date before as everything was just rumor. I guess July 15th is still middle of the year which is what we've always been told.

Isn't there a delay with the S3 also? I could be mistaken, but I thought I saw that preorders were most likely shipping from Sprint next week and in store availability would follow.

Whenever I try this the music just plays on the phone and not through the car stereo. And I don't have an audio output option in the music player to switch to BT. When I have the stereo's BT Input selected, it just says no BT Audio Device Found. I found a thread on the HOX threads at XDA...

Same lousy speeds here. Also in the southwest 'burbs so I guess no surprise. Would be nice to have a data connection that was actually usable.

LOL! Several weeks after launch you can find most Apple phone in the stores too. So your opinion is that it would make more sense for HTC not to have a supply to meet demand?
