You actually should have put OEM firmware on it instead of keeping the branded crap. I am on 5.1.1 with my Note 4 and I am having zero lag. It runs smooth as a phone possibly could. I love everything about it including the 6.5+ hours of screen on time.

There was definitely an upgrade for the camera firmware itself, the picture quality improved a little bit but besides that, that's about it. I attached a screenshot for you of the camera modes. It's the same as with 4.2.2 Sent from my GT-I9505
