My phone charges in turbo mode now with no problems. I do charge with the phone screen face down and propped up on one end to keep cooler and have no problems charging now. If you check this is a problem in a lot of these phones.

Had this happen after charging and the phone was hot. Have two Moto 4s. After duplicating the problem with my other phone I finally found out was caused by the charger. I swapped out for a new one and haven't seen the problem since then.
