The only thing I don't like on Samsung's messaging app is that instead of breaking up long texts, you have to click a link to read the whole text. It's annoying.

Got it yesterday on my Verizon S8+. Looks like a totally different phone. No issues with battery or performance like I've read while waiting on it. Can't figure out how to get rid of the wifi calling "need to update location" notification and can't disable the bixby button now, but otherwise...

I only get that when it's plugged in and fully charged.

It'll come back when you restart. Just have to remember to go back in and turn off background usage again. Helped my battery on Oreo a bunch turning this off.

In the notifications menu you have the option of no icon badges, badges without numbers, and badges with numbers. Doesn't matter about badges with numbers though because no matter how many emails or texts I get it only displays "1" on the badge.

I have an Incipio case on my phone and haven't experienced a problem with Samsung Pay or Android Pay. I don't know about the pop socket though, seems like it would prevent the phone from getting close enough to the terminal.

I opened SP and done the verification for the card to read, inserted my library card into the pump while holding the phone near it and pulled my library card out like you would a normal card swipe into the pump.
