I haven't had this issue yet but as far as pulling the battery, I would go along with the last post and say to not make a habit it of it. In fact I've heard of the phone bugging out when the battery is pulled at times. Better off just trying to shut it down and power it back up first if anything.

When I first got the phone I never used it. And I told myself that I'd never use it. Then I actually tried it and kind of hated it at first. Once I got used to it though, I find that I use it quite often and that its pretty comfortable to use.

Congratulations on the new Droid. I also switched from the Eris to the Droid. Great decision. Much happier, with the battery life especially.
