Hi, thank you for responding. Yes, I've tried safe mode. It's no different from restart, gyro functioned for a while but then it didn't. The auto-rotate doesn't work ANYWHERE. I think the update did something that stops the gyroscope from functioning after a while. I used a gyroscope test app...

I thought I'm the only one with this problem since googling doesn't give any results. Thank you for this thread! Auto-rotate doesn't solve it at all. The only way is to restart the phone which is absurd. And after a while the auto-rotate stops working again...
