This is happening with podcasts I have downloaded onto the phone, not streamed. These headphones do all audio...they have a mic and I can answer the phone when it rings.

I'm so glad it went through! It was definitely the BBB complaint. The BBB contacted me with a response from HTC saying they resolved it. I closed the case by accepting this reply. Still, it's ridiculous that we had to do that. But I'm glad that HTC finally did the right thing for the both of us!

The audio is excellent on the U11, and the USB-c headphones that comes with a new phone sound great (noise cancellation). I have not owned an S8, so I can't speak to that. I can speak to HTC's poor service. I would honestly avoid them, even though I really like the phone. If you get a U11 then...
