Very true. It's the only reason why Apple is popular with the masses. Most people don't care about customizing because they are sheep. It's trendy.

I have noticed a significant speed increase. There is very little lag and operation seems much smoother. My phone has turned off for no reason and google nav does not lock on easily.

I was one of the few to manually upgrade my Epic 4g. I am so glad I did. I did have issues updating my phone, but reseting my phone fixed the problem. I had to reinstall all my apps but it wasworth it. Froyo is great on this phone. Besides having flash and being able to use skype the music...
