I've read on here that holding down the volume down and home button simulates taking the battery out. give that a try. It might get you to the point where you can do a factory reset.

I love my s6 active. I just upgraded from a s4 active. The main reason I up dated was for the screen. On my old phone in sunlight I had to take off my sunglasses put my hands over it and squint just to read it. Now everything is visable with out doing all that. Then there's the battebattery...
