I have the exact same issue with my S7 and S7 Edge. They both will dim the whites on screens like settings, etc. This is with auto brightness off, and brightness at half way. But it will get bright again if I exit that screen then go back to it. Very strange. Its kind of like the dim that...

Do fingerprints show up really bad on the back like the gold and silver? Can you post some pics of the back after its been touched a lot. I have a black S7 on the way and just want to get an idea for how bad it will smudge, and show fingerprints on the back. Thanks

LOL. I like using front and rear clear screen protectors and keeping it looking naked, but actually having some protection. Hate scratches with a passion.

Got my silver S7 Edge yesterday. Still havent opened it. Getting a screen protector later today and want it fully protected before I even use it. Pretty stoked.

I know this is an old thread, but I was hoping someone had a fix. I have a T-Mobile S6 edge, and a T-Mobile S6. Comparing screens is how I found this issue. At same 100% brightness with Auto off the S6 screen looks way brighter than the Edge. I also did the flashlight test and confirmed it. But...

This sucks for me as well. I have a white S6 now and love it. Love the look, and especially how it doesnt always have to be wiped because of fingerprints. Was really looking forward to the white S7. Oh well.

I decided to return my gold one to T-Mobile that I got through "Jump". Then I bought a mint condition/ clean ESN white one on Ebay for 349.99. Great deal if it really is mint.

I also have the Gold and the fingerprints on the back drive me nuts. Kinda wishing I went with a white one since the fingerprints barely show up on the white one. Anyone else bothered by the back fingerprints on the Gold?

I actually like the way the buttons are different. But I just dont want the finger print magnet black one.
