I did a factory reset on the phone. Now it has 930 MB of memory available. I don't understand, but I'm happy with the results!

My poor little LG Optimus Fuel (KitKat 4.4) is struggling. It only has 2 GB of on-board memory, and Google Play Services uses up 521 MB of that (over one-fourth). Is there any way to reduce the memory that Google Play Services uses?

We plugged the HDMI end into a spare input on our receiver. Picture and sound worked fine. You could go directly to the TV HDMI input also.

I did this update using KIES. So far no problems. I don't see any differences. Same Android version with a newer kernel (whatever the kernel is).

Judging from the relatively few complaints, I venture to guess that most folks are not having problems with this update. However, ever since Google nearly killed my wife's Nexus 7 with Lollipop, I am extremely cautious about applying updates. I even chatted with a guy at Samsung tech support...
