Long Texts broken up when received...HELP.

I have AT&T and my significant other has Verizon and an iPhone and this was an issue on my old Android before I got an iPhone and it's an issue again now that I'm back on Android. Pretty sure it's just how iPhone handles SMS messages; maybe a bit on the carrier side. I'd mostly lay the blame...

Always on display - No option to schedule?

I didn't have any issues either brightness when I kept it next to my bed. The text on the screen dims to the point that it's really hard to see it when it's dark in my room.

    How does Moto Care work?

Re: Moto Warranty? The credit card hold is standard for any company doing an advanced exchange to make sure you return the broken device like you say you will. That is just good business practice when you are sending someone out a $400 phone for an exchange and you haven't gotten anything back...

    Standby Time On 5.1.1

I think the feature is tied into the Smart Manager application and the US carriers all stripped that out, I think. It really sucks since Lollipop just tends to let applications run rampant but at least M will bring doze, which I think does close to the same thing that this does or at least the...

    SIM unlocked

I'm almost positive it will not work on LTE on T-Mobile. The Sprint G2 (LS980) has a radio that works with LTE bands 25, 26 & 41. T-Mobile uses LTE bands 2, 4 & 17. Voice and (maybe) 2g/Edge would likely work, both phones support GSM 850 frequency.

Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - Candy coated goodness.

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - ***Release starts March 31st*** I got mine last night, or this morning I should say, after I manually checked at 12:03AM. I had checked at 11:45 and didn't get anything so perhaps when Google kicks off each wave it runs by the phones local time zone...

Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat Tips, Tricks, Traps, Problems, Concerns, LIkes, Dislikes Thread.

Got the update last night, everything seems to be working like normal. No connection issues, though when I'm not using the phone/using data is seems to default to the weaker LTE signal (band 25) which I'm guessing is to save bandwidth and the 'better' bands for active data users, and all the...

Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat Tips, Tricks, Traps, Problems, Concerns, LIkes, Dislikes Thread.

I'd give it some time to settle, so to speak. It sounds odd but sometimes after updates, especially bigger ones, there are small network connection issues. I have a strong feeling that the KitKat update re-worked how the phone searches and locks onto bands considering the issues that popped up...

Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - Candy coated goodness.

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - The Rumors, Conjecture and Hearsay thread. It's not some big no-no to go beyond what the computer screen told us. Granted I wasn't supposed to out and out lie, and I never did, but we were always encouraged to go the extra mile. I found that being...

Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - Candy coated goodness.

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - The Rumors, Conjecture and Hearsay thread. That really shouldn't make to big a difference, especially considering HTC is pretty much in charge of rolling out their own updates. It's unlikely that it will come today if someone hasn't seen it on their...

Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - Candy coated goodness.

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - The Rumors, Conjecture and Hearsay thread. The $36 re-stocking fee applies no matter what when you want to return a phone in the 14 day window. If the phone is activated or you take it our the box, the fee applies. No matter what. In theory the store...

    Switching from 3g to LTE

It's bit of a known issue with the G2 since the Spark update. My phone never connected to LTE after the Spark update. I got a PRL update a little over a week ago and it started to connect better but I still can't get LTE in all the places I could before I got the Spark update. Hopefully KitKat...

Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - Candy coated goodness.

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat info - The Rumors, Conjecture and Hearsay thread. All front line employees (e-chat, phone agents, store reps, etc) don't have any advanced knowledge of when a software update is coming out. We don't get alerted until about a software update coming out until...

Sprint's LG G2: Tri-Band LTE aka SPRINT SPARK

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Tri-Band LTE aka SPRINT SPARK-Update released. Have you done a PRL update lately? I got one about 3 days ago. The new PRL version is 51100 and my phone does better at latching onto LTE while in Spark service areas. Outside of Spark it's still impossible for me to get an LTE...

Sprint's LG G2: Tri-Band LTE aka SPRINT SPARK

Re: Sprint's LG G2: Tri-Band LTE aka SPRINT SPARK-Update released. I work for Sprint and I'm a part of tech support, though not part of the network tech teams, so I already know there isn't much they can do for this. Other people with non-spark phones can stand next to me and get an LTE signal...
