I see your point but I'm hoping there is magnet or something in the dock so that it knows it's in a vehicle and would bring up a vehicle home screen of some sort. If someone gets this dock can they report back if it has this function? My droid RAZR Maxx did this. It had some nice feature...

Does the "Smart Screen" feature only work with certain apps? My screen shuts off while I'm looking at it in the Chrome browser ask the time. Any suggestions? Posted via Android Central App

Is there a way to change the default camera settings and lock it so that when I go back to the camera it has the settings I choose rather than the systems default settings. Example: I constantly have to manually turn on the flash...by default it's off. Posted via Android Central App

I've been searching and can't find a dock for either home or car. I switched from a Droid Razr Maxx and had both docks. I use a usb charger and the "clock" option under "daydream" for now as a bedside clock/alarm. Seems to be working fine, except that it lays flat and it makes it hard to read...

The screen will auto rotate except for when the usb port it's facing up. Is there anyway to turn this on? I like plug in the usb charging and place the phone in a cup holder when in the car but the screen won't flip. Posted via Android Central App

I had the same issue and exchanged it for another G2. Not having the issues with the new phone.

I ended up exchanging the phone for a new G2. I haven't had the problem with the new phone.

Is anyone else having issues with the screen lock turning off before allowing you to unlock the phone? What's happening: I will attempt to wake the phone either by knock-on or power button. The lock screen will appear for about a second then turn off. Sometimes I need to do this 10-15 times...

I'm also having issues with the knock on feature. Working only about 50% of the time. I also have issue with a screen lock loop. If I try to knock-on the phone and it doesn't work, I'll try again and it doesn't work, so I push the power button. The lock screen shows up for about a second...
