If the Rezound was already rooted or had an unlocked bootloader, this would be an easy decision. Other than that, I'm looking for a zero-lag shutter on a camera. And it seems only the iPhone and GN offer that.

Ok this is getting beyond ridiculous. So you're saying I can connect my 3 year old Droid Eris up to my $52,000 Mercedes E-Class and it recognize and plays the files through there through the car stereo's DAC, while charging my phone and give me controls with the steering wheel--but a brand new...

What about mass storage? Is it windows only? Can you connect it up to any device?

If anybody should be fired over this fiasco, it should be the Verizon execs who delayed this phone for MONTHS. This has been a clusterfrack from the beginning.

Don't forget that the LTE version of GN will have an 1850mAh battery... the other GSM/HSPA+ versions will have 1750mAh. Considering the HTC Rezound has a 1620mAh battery, and the Droid Razr has a 1780mAh battery then the GN should (theoretically) be the battery leader for 4G LTE dual core...

So you're saying I won't be able to connect a GN up to a non-Windows device (my car's mp3 player for example) and it won't be able to just read the contents like it was a USB drive?

With this release debacle from Verizon, my family and I have decided to look at other alternatives. I have three plans all up for renewals: my wife and I and our daughter. Previously my daughter and I were going to get the GN, but her b'day is on Tuesday and I was hoping to get her a new GN...
