I had a positive HTC support experience: the camera on my HTC one stopped focusing and had a blue/pink tint. Even though the warranty had expired, HTC fixed it for free and paid for the UPS shipping. I mailed it on a Monday and received it the following Friday (11 days later). So far, it works...

Re: HTC one m7 camera question Update: I bought a Kyocera Hydro Life phone as a replacement for the HTC one while it is being repaired. I am amazed at the quality of it ($100 phone). Makes me wonder about the premiums being charged by the name brands.

Re: HTC one m7 camera question Update: HTC has agreed to repair the camera at no charge even though the warranty has expired. Apparently, it is a known problem with the phone.

Re: HTC one m7 camera question Thank you, Rukbat. The issues I am wrestling with in having it repaired are: I was not all that crazy about the camera even when it was working and (2) I heard that it is a difficult repair and that you risk further damage to the phone. I would be interested...
