Not sure if this will help but I had the same issue after rooting my phone and changing the resolution. I beleive that is the motoblur service. I changed to launcherpro and it stopped the error.

I'm new to smartphones so I can't help much with widgetsoid. I read circle battery app is supposed to be good for the battery notifications. Haven't tried it because I figure I can live with 10% increments.

One issue I found on my phone since the update is if battery mode is set to Nighttime saver, push email doesn't come through as fast (or at all - not sure) even though it is well past 5:00am. Setting to performance mode the push is immediate. I can live with that if the call issues are fixed.

Don't see any way to set different tones for each mail account with the default email app. I think k9 mail allows that though. You can set a different ringtone for contacts by opening the contact then hitting settings and modify.

Set your notification tone under settings > sound then set your email notification under email settings in the email app.

Thanks for the info. Didn't realize I could create that shortcut instead of having to use the widget. Installed launcher pro, created the shortcut, uninstalled launcher pro and the shortcut remains and works great. Many thanks.

Not sure if I understand but if you click the screen to add a widget, choose motorola widgets and select the messages widget it will allow you to set the accounts you want. I used it for 2 email and text message account and it worked well.

My second Photon is going back. I think I give up. Tired of being a beta tester on so many products that cost me money. Shame is when it works it has the best sound of any cell phone I have ever tried.
