Yeah, basically what JohnNadeau said. It took a min but everything is up and running without any real hiccups. My primary edge bar went blank while the other ones worked fine. A little toggling and couple restarts got it back. So far so good.

Interesting thread. Thanks to everyone for sharing the S7 Edge comparisons. I've been curious but most reviews only reference it to the S6. I guess I'm in line to either get an S8 Edge or another Note variant if they come out with one. I'm really confused as to why Samsung keeps going backwards...

I did that but the notification style can't be customized away from the small buttons they give you on the lock screen. No more widgets on the lock screen is a terrible idea.

Check your battery in the settings menu to see what apps are consuming it. On my old HTC I had a Google services update that forced it to go buggy. It was just spinning in the background and it killed my battery. I did a factory reset and then made sure it didn't do that update again.
