When is this getting Android 6.0?

No problems so far. Haven't used Google On Tap yet, I still dislike that Google destroyed that "swipe up" gesture on the home button to invoke Google Now.

So apparently Google in their infinite wisdom decided the swipe-up no longer should do anything. Matias Duarte is so brilliant....

I did that but all that changed was "On Tap" went away. I still have to press & hold. The swipe up gesture is gone! F U Google!

Google will never make another 7" Nexus tablet. You can see what direction they are headed in with the Pixel C and it isn't smaller and affordable. The day my N7 dies will be a sad one.

Yeah it feels snappier than it's been in a while. 2 year+ tablet and it's kicking. I bet I end up keeping it for 3 years or more easily. I'm still waiting for somebody to make a 7" stock Android tablet with new specs.

So I updated, but one thing I notice that disappoints me is that the swipe up from the home button no longer invokes Google Now. You have to long press to get a new GUI that includes "On Tap & Now" and then invoke it by pressing an element.

My OTA update is downloaded and ready to install. But I'm hearing all kinds of horror stories from people, should I wait a month?

Today I installed an update that seems to be a preparatory to 6.0.

Still no OTA notification.

I understand Google basically implemented the same system that Apple has with TouchID. But why doesn't Google have a name for it so that people know what to look for was well as devs? This is typical Google, dropping the ball on letting people know about their cool features.
