I think the problem is they need to make them like separate plans or something, i almost don't blame the T-mobile guy. The only mention I found on the site is in the small text at the bottom, why can't they be like "with post paid you get these features too!"

Seems like it is software and hardware on the verizon model. I am using Malladus rom and it has made it workable to get enough lock most of the time now.

Ya I'm having gps issues with verizon as well, it works now and then but most of the time it's off where I'm actually at and takes a while to get any lock.

Ya again today I had issues I was going to try and use a different program besides Google maps but it was running awful and was having trouble getting beyond the 2 satellites again. I've only been able to get a true lock a couple times and I usually give it a new try when I drive somewhere

still wouldn't help tell that, it's always hard to tell. When I had a galaxy s3 I had major gps issues on stock and all my roms, then I downloaded an AOSP rom and bam it worked almost perfect. It's really hard to say what causes it.

I've been having issues like that too. Yesterday I was getting like 2 satellites max but I had messed with some of my gps config files settings and had frozen a verizon location service, and was using cleanrom. Now I factory reset and switch to Malladus hoping that it might have been rom...

Ya the block mode I wish they had and god knows why they had to make the device annoying by putting the persistent wifi notifications. Really all their changes were unnecessary like there is some dude at verizon with some slight preferences that he liked better.

There are free apps out there that will backup all your apps and you can reinstall. However if you want the data you would need to be rooted and use like titanium backup. like said the data sync is new, and will be amazing once more apps use it.

That is odd i did read that too, however when I went I got both me and my wifes contract phones price matched. If they say no I would either ask for a manager or say you called up and they said they would, most likely you could bully them into it lol
