I went ahead and removed the partition and reformatted it. 8GB card - 7.27 GB free.

I used Disk Utility on a mac but it won't let me undo the partitions. I've copied the data from both partitions. Should I just reformat it (now on my PC) and just copy the data from the two partitions onto the one?

That's the first time I've come across the 20% rule. I am on the stock ROM. It's been a long time since I rooted it but it looks like the recovery was VM701. Does that sound right? Is there a way to check? I'll be doing this all on the Windows OS. Thanks for all of your advice!

Is there a way to make it so that only certain contacts will sync? Or does the phone only send/backup the contacts on my phone to google? On an Optimus V 2.2.2
