An alternate idea is to replace it with another Note 4 ( if you liked the phone when it worked properly, of course). The price of them is only going to get cheaper over time and you can reuse the bits of the old one as spares - charger, battery, s-pen, etc.

OK thanks. I still think the Note 4 is more flexible - e.g. swap out the battery, rooting etc. The bar was set so high with the Note 4, it will take a lot to beat it! :)
