I still use the D2G for my every day phone. I would say no if you want to play apps. Most apps being created use more RAM then is available for use with the phone. I am counting the days till June when I can get a new phone. Some camera app issues when saving and at least in my area some...

Your welcome. The update also seemed to help with the battery life. Today I was able to get 14 hours of heavy E-mail, web, txts, and some lite gaming and playing with settings.

If you are running on Verizon then changing the setting to CDMA will have no affect. If you are outside of the country then you won't have signal until you change it back to global mode. Battery Life on Droid2 Global - Verizon Wireless Community Hope this helps.
