I had pretty bad battery life (less than a day with moderate use), but I brought the phone back to sprint when it wouldn't take the ZVD update and was overheating when charging and the replacement gets about 1.5x the battery life of the old one (8 hours to 12 hours). So, it might be a quality...

It's good if you just want a stock android phone; if you want something with more 3rd party development and it's a contract phone, I'd get the Galaxy Nexus for $10 more from Sprint

Interesting.. The guy at Sprint was telling me that they release updates regionally.. But he was also using that as an excuse for not fixing my phone when the ZVD update wouldn't take. guess you really can't rely on what they say for anything..

The guy at Sprint told me that if you wipe data for GoogleServicesFramework, it will check for OTA.. easier than a factory reset, and it doesn't appear to break anything

Find and update the software version on your LG Viper 4G LTE smartphone it would appear Sprint might have updated the product info a little early; LG might have started shipping with ICS preloaded before pushing OTA?

Yeah, my only concern is that we need to update to zvd before we can get is or jb. I contacted LG, and they said to bring it in to sprint, or else mail it to them for service.. Sent from my LG-LS840 using Tapatalk 2

I had problems with the signature verification failing on zip files when I renamed them on my tablet. Is there a way to rename the package that won't cause the recovery to reject it? Sent from my LG-LS840 using Tapatalk 2

Re: [please sticky] to anyone trying to ota update and it won't t I'm having the same problem, I tried unrooting/rerooting, factory reset, and connecting to my computer in download mode and still no luck getting the OTA or this package to install.
