Update: well went to best buy and they asked all the usual questions like if I have tried turning the phone off and on ect ect. They finally kept insisting that I have to factory reset my phone so not wanting to fight with them anymore I just agreed. I can now make it through like 3 songs...

Re: Google Play Music issue? But its a basic service that is already pre-installed I'd expect it to work the way its supposed to. Especially when I'm paying for a monthly service. Its only a minor inconvenience but its highly annoying to have to dig my phone out of my pocket every few minutes...

Got the phone a week and a half ago on 4.2 (sprint) then the notification of the 4.4 update appeared. So updating my phone goes smoothly and everything is smoother, the notification bar looks cleaner and the phone seems perfect. Until I try using the play music app, on 4.2 it worked as usual now...
