Extra Info: I'm connected to the WiFi of a large hotel, earlier today the icon disappeared to show the regular WiFi icon with up down arrows. Now the circle has returned again, so could be denotating that I'm connected to a repeater of a WiFi network?

Yeah I thought it could be that too given it's that icon but nope hotspot is 100% off (my hotspot name isn't broadcast and the WiFi icon changes to the hotspot icon when it is on). I thought it could be WiFi calling but I've disabled that, rebooted and icon still has this weird look to it :/

Yeah I originally thought it could be that, or WiFi calling etc, but nope all of those are off :/

Anyone know what the circle to the left of the WiFi icon means? I've scoured the interwebs and found bob-all.
