Decided to do factory reset, having made sure of back-up. That sorted it, though I have noticed two music apps have vanished, I am sure I didn't put them on originally. Thanks for the help.

Have rebooted but no change. I have powered off and held power on and volume up. Nothing happened. There was a black screen with nothing to select. I can set the volume to anywhere I want, then seconds later it's at full volume. The only setting which is stable is mute.

Yes, got mine from EE only micro cable supplied. Can't understand why they are allowed to boast about these things and not supply them.

On my battery usage info there is an item Cell standby which it states is "Battery used by cell radio." This is using 8% battery usage. What is this and why have I got it Sorry I am using Galaxy S5 in UK on EE network.

Works OK on my S5, but only when screen is almost vertical. When lowered to horizontal next time the screen is due to go off it will about 3 seconds after the little eye appears.

Made my mind up, ordering my S5 on Monday. Thanks for the suggestions. Will no doubt be back for something or other.

I am due to upgrade my phone later this month, but after reading these threads over the last two weeks I think I will wait. There seems too many faults on the phone, and Samsung do not seem to care. Pity because I was really looking forward to getting the S5.

My Z2 tablet sound will not stay where I set it. After about 60 seconds it changes the volume to maximum. I installed the update from Sony on Saturday 24th May, but not sure if this is the cause. Can anyone help? Have tried to get support but it just goes in circles.
