I had none of those issues. I believe you when you say you are. But I wonder if you have installed something causing that or if you have a defective unit? Never know. If you are at the point of returning it go ahead and do a factory reset. The problem may disappear after that. Good luck.

Maybe. But I spent a ton of hours with it. And the problems I was having were not going to solve themselves. My return was not a "this is different so I don't like it" decision. It was a "several core features I rely on are either missing or completely broken" decision. I was looking for...

Thanks for the reply. Actually I gave up and returned the Note last night. I got tired of fighting with Android bugs. I will try again in a year or so if the iPhone 5 does not impress me.

Yeah, I was a little bummed when I opened my box and there was no headset. I figured I would get a cheap set with controls. If I keep the Note I will just grab a set online (assuming Android phones support controls on headphones).

I think not having a physical home button sucks. I have the US version and wish I had a version with a physical button. LTE is fast but 3G is fast enough for me. Wish I could toggle 4G off and just use 3G to save battery.
