Honestly I follow the Pixel line for the cameras and purity of the Android experience. Past Android experiences were bloated and mucky in regards to added baggage.

I plan to upgrade from an htc one m8 to either this or the regular pixel. Has anyone held both the m8 and pixel? If so, how does the pixel xl compare?

Because it's presumably a part of the pixel's software, does that mean it can be disabled, too? I've been a Cortana guy ever since it came out and would rather use that. That's the only thing holding me back from buying this phone.
