Any Sprint Note 8 Pie users here? Sprint Note 8 forum indicates serious Sprint LTE issues. Not updating yet. Might be a Sprint tech/tower/Freq-band(?) issue.

Letting go of my Note 4 with replaceable battery, IR blaster and compass was difficult but I can't risk not having the security updates...

Got a pristine Note 8 on EBay for $320. Be careful and diligent and you can get an excellent Note 8 for cheap. I think tech reviewers dump their almost unused phones on EBay. The last update on mine was 8/2017 when I got it and the battery is like new.

How is your LTE performance? Sprint forum had Sprint officially acknowledge serious LTE problems and an additional fix/update. I am not updating yet...

I have 2 stock GN4's still going strong after all these years. They just needed new batteries and the periodic factory resets to clean them up. I had 2 GN2's die on me though due to the dreaded Motherboard failures. Anker IMHO is the best vendor for batteries and accessories. I think...

Thanks for the tip but it was seeing the 128Gb. I ended up doing the factory reset and it fixed everything. It was long overdue for a cleanup anyway. More internal memory cleared up, snappier phone, and little annoying bugs accumulated over time are now gone.

I just noticed that I now have 65Gb of stuff on my 128Gb SD card. Seems as though this problem started the moment I exceeded 64Gb. The pics still sucessfully load to dropbox though.

Forgot to add that I can still send all my older pics.

The last security update I received for my Sprint Galaxy Note 4 was October 17th 2017. Not happy. I might be forced to pick up a Galaxy Note 8 without a replaceable battery. @#*&$!

Sorry to hear about your issues. My stock Marshmallow Sprint GN4 is running just fine. Every now and then a monthly firmware update creates an issue (overheating) but a battery pull and wipe partition cache solves it. I do have the odd wifi drop to LTE and it is sometimes slow to connect to...

Thanks for all the leads. The pricey Samsungparts.com was legit but did not have the nifty plastic case. Anker customer service is great but even they admitted they do not match the original samsung batteries. I am really worried that we may never see a replaceable battery Note again.
