Thanks for clarifying. Also do you know if they deny the claim, can i send the new phone back to google get my old one back ? As i don't want to spend $850 they are holding for a refurbished pixel 2 xl. i am sure i can get the charging port fixed for $100 or so.

I am in the same situation, charging stopped working yesterday. Google did a RMA, but i have a cracked screen for more than 6 months. So what is the consensus on this Should i get it fixed from UBreakIFix before sending mine back? Getting it repaired from them should not void the warrany?
