Another fault with Samsung S7 is, no audio/headphone jack... I would have to invest in Bluetooth stuff and all my present audio connect stuff is useless if I go S7....

FIY... Chrome books (the Dual specifically) do not have GPS chips, have to link (cable) to cell phone or other device capable of sending GPS data to Chrome Book Apps.... Sort of makes having to do a kludge of sorts makes if kind of awkward because it puts it on leash to another device and...

Sorry to say but Samsung's lack of support for upgrades to Android has made the tablet next to useless... IT can not run some of the latest Android/Google apps like GOOGLE HOME and probably many others .... MY advice if you are having a problem or are disenchanted with SAMSUNG, just abandon...

Bought my SIL as new Lenovo 10. 1 inch tablet with latest android for $119 at christmas time...Cheaper than new battery for Samsung.... IF battery and motherboard are failing , just get long extension cord and keep it powered up.... Whining that it's not what you want to do to fix it isn't...

Try "Hackers Keyboard" at Google Drive... Its my go to keyboard... Dale

The lens covering camera "cell" on my tablet is becoming scratched and is causing images to become fuzzy like a "soft focus" used in portrait work....Anybody tried polishing lens to restore crispness to images... OR am I going to have to put a new back on my tablet... Dale

The tablet and it operating system is a great thing it and works very for what I want.... All I was asking was for a possible work around of what I perceived a short coming of way operating system handled this one issue.... I have tried Android Facebook apps and they all seem to have some...

Really don't care if windows is downloading file the upload into facebook in one easy motion.... It accomplishes the task.... Android wont so now I have to find the source file, download it to tablet, and then go to facebook tap camera icon and find file in "documents" in android, then upload...

Not convoluted and yes you finally have handle on my conundrum... In windows I can copy a image address say from Google Images, tap facebook camera and it will bring up the windows file manager screen.... Sure ... And I can paste the address of image, (not the actual file but image address...

But in windows it will accept a URL of image/media file if it has correct third party address.... WHY DOES NOT ANDROID act the same way.... A image address in comment field of facebook will NOT display a image and users have to click on address to see image and that IS NOT what I want.... Why...

Unfortunately it's not working for me as you describe, when I click on the facebook camera icon I get these three options, Camera, Camcorder, Document which all require "media file" to be in tablets storage.... There is no place where I can just paste third party media URL ... Image shows...

BUT.... It only shows up on FB as a link, NOT as a Graphic... Links I know about, but on PC Browser It can be done and it will show as any third party hosted graphic (except for Photobucket)... Dale
