Worked for me too - just remember that there is an "*" preceding the first "#" in the input string.

I promise you, you forgot to put the " * " character first, before the first "#". I know, because I overlooked it at first as well. You don't have to push the dial button, if you follow his instructions. Oh - and by the way - it fixed my problem - the problem being that my Samsung Note 2...
