Now realised Whatsapp video recording sound quality has suddenly become very poor as well. Again the regular camera app works fine, seems to be a software failure with the Whatsapp camera? Reinstalling hasn't solved it.

Hi all. Using Whatsapp my camera has just lost coordination of taking a photo and flashing at the same time on both front and rear cameras, so all photos are taken without the flash effectively. Normal camera app and flash working fine. Any ideas? G5S Plus Android 8.1.0 Cheers.

Hi Rubkat. She rarely uses it for calls, and uses wifi for the calls she does make so network coverage where she lives isn't a problem (even though the Network claimed to have good coverage for her area). She had no such notification problem on Android 6 Moto G3 phone. I assume there's no way...

Hi all. My Mum's new Moto G6 Play keeps getting this notification popping up: "No voice service. Temporarily not offered by the mobile network at your location." It's because she lives where there's a poor and usually no phone signal. So I think as the signal drops in and out, it keeps popping...

Finally. I just got my phone back, they ended up replacing the main board which has solved the problem. So pretty much most of the phone has been replaced as it now has a new IMEI number. Thanks for all your help!

This at least gives me confidence it's not a design fault then and hopefully I just got unlucky with a faulty phone. I'll post again soon surely with positive news.

Yes. They are now taking it back to the repair centre for a second time. This time I will not have to pay postage. I'm hoping for a replacement phone at this point.

I guess I'm out of options then. Many thanks for your efforts, I'll see if I can get it replaced, it's only a few weeks old.

Yes Battery Saving was on (in Location mode) so I've changed it to Device Only and then to High Accuracy modes but still have the problem with those modes. The other battery saver (Under the battery icon) is also off.
