Won't Charge over USB in car

I'm sorry to come so late to the party, but I want to note that the actual problem may be in the cable. Some micro-USB cables are actually 5-pin cables, and some are 4-pin cables (however many pins they seem to have, only 4 are working). Some of the cheap cables are 5-pin cables; some of the...

    The Ghosts of Depart Files

Well, I got no love here; but I found that I could eliminate those unhappy files by booting to a TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) recovery mode, and using its file manager.

    The Ghosts of Depart Files

I'm having trouble getting rid of four alleged files and of a directory listing them. I have a rooted Nexus 7 on which is installed Stickmount, and for which I've been using Astro File Manager. A while back, I mounted a flash drive by way of USB OTG, and at some point had a crash. Now, when...

    Update

Oh, there's things that readers would want to read. And I understand that I'm asking you to put more time into what has been a source of frustration for you, but this request is with the idea of making Motorola Mobility face some consequences of throwing its testers under the bus. Here are the...

    Update

Not only was that release awful, but Motorola Mobility has not released a fix (which could simply be to give the previous version a higher number and send that), they went silent at the end of 2012, and they've kept the test participants locked out of the Motorola Mobility forums.

    Update

Hey, I've been trying to get some of the other victims to answer some questions for me, so that I can write a magazine article about this fiasco. Would you be willing to participate?

    55.11.79.XT603,Sprint.en.US Test Participants

Last year, Motorola Mobility tested RC (Release Candidate) 55.11.79.XT603,Sprint.en.US for the Motorola Admiral (aka ?XT603?). The RC failed, with a large share of participants suffering from a number of problems. But, for undisclosed reason(s), Motorola Mobility chose not to release a fix to...

So, basically you used a shill account used to ensure that this post fell off the radar.
