Nope - someone at a Verizon store told me they had seen it before and that it was a manufacturing defect & required a replacement, but I only found this out after my 1-year warranty had expired so I didn't bother verifying whether that was the case or not. Good luck!

Hi all, I've had my Moto X since about October 2014. Recently (within the last month), it has stopped showing the 'charging' icon while plugged in (to the wall) when the screen is unlocked. Same outlet, same charger, but for some reason now the phone will only charge when the screen is...

Same issue (I think) - my Moto X (purchased in October) recently will only charge if it is plugged in and locked (on AC power). The moment I unlock it, the icon changes from charging to battery power, even if I'm not doing anything. Have tried restarting. Thoughts? Suggestions?
