    Oxygen OS vs. Android Lolipop

I like Oxygen OS. Basically a Nougat version with UI improvements. Way to go OnePlus! I'm looking forward to see when/how will be ported Android 8 that is around the corner.

Does the OnePlus 5 really compete?

True. I just read this news here. It is a proof that OnePlus is dedicated to this phone. maybe they rush a little to put on the market but from there they are dedicating all their efforts to improve it. That is good!

Should we start being more critical of OnePlus?

I totally agree with Aquila. OnePlus already has a history of a few years and (good) products. I think at last we can ask them to keep the good things from the previous phones in the new models (if you ask me, I prefer the way OnePlus 3T is built comparing with the actual OP5.

I too tested one for one day. Great software and battery. Camera seems good too. A very good value for the money, in my opinion.

    Is the OnePlus 5 future-proof?

Yes. That will be a good idea. It only depends on they willing to give support to this phone for more than 2 years. if not.... we can only hope the developers' community will remain active for this phone.

    Is the OnePlus 5 future-proof?

Yes - if you think on short term (maximum 2 or 3 years) and with software updates (official for at least 2 years, custom ROMs then I suppose).

    One Plus 5 - Colours

I will always consider it is enough only one colour - black (or at limit, dark grey). All the Nexus phones phones I had in the last five years were black (or had a black case when the black colour was not available).

    HTC U11 or OnePlus 5?

I too think is a matter of preference. Still, considering the software mainly I opt for One Plus 5. If only Opo will made a phone with a screen of 6 inches diagonal....

What is your guys wishlist for Pixel XL

My wishlist consists in things that I have on Nexus 6 and seems that were abandoned on the way: - bigger screen. 5.5 is not big enough for me, especially after having 5.96 inches on my Nexus 6 - smaller bezels - again, Nexus 6 is the best Nexus from this point of view; and Pixel phones do not...

can i install Android 7.0 in an old smartphone (2014) model ?

I have it installed on a phone released in 2014 - Motorola Nexus 6. Basically it will not ask for more resources than Android 6 so if you had before Amdroid 6 on your phone and you will find a custom ROM with Nougat flavour on XDA try it. :).
